பெரியார் திராவிடர் கழகம் சார்பில் வரும் 06-02-2008 புதனன்று, காலை 11 மணியளவில், புதுதில்லியில் பாராளுமன்றம் முன்பு ‘இந்திய அரசே! தமிழர்களைக் கொல்லும் இலங்கைக்கு இராணுவ உதவி செய்யாதே’ என வலியுறுத்தி மாபெரும் கண்டனப் பேரணி – ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடைபெற்றது.
அதில், கலந்துக் கொள்வதற்காக புதுச்சேரிலிருந்து பெரியார் தி.க. தோழர்கள் அவ்வமைப்பின் தலைவர் லோகு.அய்யப்பன் தலைமையில் 60 பேர், 03-02-008 ஞாயிறன்று மதியம் 3.00 மணியளைவில் புதிய பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து சென்னைக்குப் புறப்பட்டனர். சென்னையிலிருந்து தொடர்வண்டி மூலம் தில்லி சென்றனர்.
